★ After the journey of the soul through the Major Arcana, we are met with the Minor Arcana - 56 cards that all come together to tackle living a human Life on Earth.
Like the Prisma Visions deck, in each Cosma Visions deck are elaborate panorama images that you can assemble by lining up the suits:
— The Spark of Embers —
★ In the first suit, The Spark of Embers, the soul embarks on its first journey on earth after spending time in the spirit plane. It takes you on a quest that challenges and inspires the soul. During this suit we encounter the devastation of fire but also the ability to turn this powerful element into a force of creation.
— Dance of Lotuses —
★ In the Dance of Lotuses, the soul is reconnected to the heart. Dominated by emotions, the heart searches for balance and freedom to love. During this suit we learn about pain and love and the interconnectedness of the two. We celebrate unions and connections and personal empowerment through understanding deep emotions.
— Flight of birds —
★ In the Flight of Birds, the soul and the heart are reintroduced to the mind. It is here at the base of Wise Mountain that the soul must journey through the cavities of the mind to reach a point of clarity and understanding. In this suit we witness frustration, internal struggles and mental anguish, but we also learn about rest, reflection and mental precision.
— Growth of trees —
★ In the Growth of Trees, the soul, heart and mind are fused together with the body. It is during this suit that we experience labor, wealth, leisure and decay. Through hard work and dedication we learn to grow from our challenges and foster our strengths.
...But wait there's something else...
Cosma Visions panoramas connect back to where they started. For example, the tenth card loops back to the first card, creating an endless panorama. This means you can start the image at any point! I'm really excited by this new feature and I think it will allow the reader to break out of the box with creative readings.
★ The Cosma Visions oracle can be used like any normal tarot or oracle deck. My hope is that it will be quick to learn because of the various similarities this oracle has to tarot.
★ The one major difference between this deck and a tarot deck, besides the names of each card, is the fifth suit - the suit of Beings. This suit is comprised of all of the court cards normally found across the standard four suits and instead creates the fifth suit. These are the court cards, transformed.
★ I want this deck to be used just as if it were a tarot deck. I want weight to be held in the gravity of the Major Arcana and I want themes to unfold throughout the minors. There is just something systematically beautiful about the way Tarot is constructed.
★ The Cards are approximately 2.75" x 4.75" and all share identical backs. The cards are printed with the highest quality inks on durable cardstock and are finished with a matte UV varnish and edged with labradorite blue edges.
